Demo videos

The narrated demo of Terrain Viewer and the raw screencast takes it was cut from, recorded by agents from the production site, served from the demo-takes release

The videos are made the same way as the slide decks: by an agent, from the real app. An agent drives the production site with agent-browser in a headless Chrome on the GPU, a DevTools screencast captures the frames, and the cut adds title cards and a narrator's subtitles in Remotion with Remocn motion components. The files live on the demo-takes release and stream from there; the scripts of every take are under video/takes/.

The cut

The takes

Each take is one continuous recording at 1920 × 1080 and 30 fps, with the real Windows cursor drawn in, no cuts, no speed change. The cut above plays them at 1x.

Basic modes over Mont Blanc

Hillshade, then slope with its range narrowed to 60 degrees, the hypsometric tint with another ramp and its bounds pulled in, then fitted to the view, a zoom, and the picker of visualization modes.

Making them

The recording recipe, the capture over the DevTools protocol, the Remocn components of the cut and the commands are on Making the demo videos. The release holds the current cut and the two takes it was made from; superseded recordings are removed when a new one lands.
